Our first Halloween pumpkin-La nostra prima zucca di Halloween ( ENG-ITA)

The Italian version is immediately after the English one-La versione in italiano e subito dopo quella in inglese

Hello friends, Halloween has arrived, and even though we don't celebrate much here, this year I had to. With all the cartoons on TV and decorations around, my son insisted, and we decided to try making our first Halloween pumpkin.

The first step was to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth. It certainly didn't turn out perfect but I had a little helping hand.

Then, I cut out the shapes once our pumpkin started taking on a festive form.

And we've reached the last part, which, in my opinion, is the most annoying... cleaning the inside. Inside the pumpkin is full of slimy and sticky strings, and lots and lots of seeds, so it needs to be emptied properly.

And here we are, our first pumpkin is practically finished. To make the Halloween vibes come alive, I introduced a little candle inside, and in the dark, it's a spectacle.

Friends, I didn't throw away the seeds... I washed them and set them aside to dry. In a few days, we'll have fun eating them.

Trick or treat?

Ciao amici, halloween è arrivato ed anche se noi non usiamo tanto qua a festeggiare, quest'anno mi tocca.
Con tutti i cartoni in tv ed le decorazioni in giro mio figlio ha insistito è abbiamo deciso di provare a fare la prima nostra zucca di halloween

Prima etapa e stata di disegnare i occhi, naso, ed la Boca. Certo non è uscito tutto perfetto però ho avuto una manina piccola che mi ha aiutato

Puoi in seguito ho tagliato le forme dopo che la nostra zucca ha cominciato prendere una forma di festa

Ed siamo arrivati alla ultima parte, secondo me la parte più fastidiosa...la pulizia al interno. Dentro la zucca e piena di fili scivolosi e apicicosi, ed tanta tanta seme, perciò si deve svotare per bene.

Eccoci qua, praticamente finita la nostra prima zucca.
Per far sentire vive le emozioni di Halloween ho introdotto una candelina al interno è.... A luci spente e un spettacolo

Amici, i semi non li ho buttati... Lavati e mesi ad asciugare. Fra qualche giorno ci divertiremo a mangiarli.
