Graphocephala confluens

Graphocephala confluens is one of the insect species that comes from the cicadellidae family and is rarely discussed in popular literature, in fact this species also plays an interesting ecological role in its habitat, this tiny species is also included in the genus graphocepala but they are better known as leafhoppers or in our country Indonesia this species is known as "wereng daun", even though its size is small and often goes unnoticed, but did you know that Graphocephala confluens stores biological and ecological complexities that are worth exploring further.

The uniqueness of Graphocephala confluens lies in its morphological state which looks simple but has a distinctive color variation among its members, although their body color is not as bright as other species in the same genus such as Graphocephala coccinea which looks striking with bright red and green colors, but the species that I found this time also has its own uniqueness, one of which is a slightly dark body color that really allows them to hide among dry leaves so they are difficult to find and often escape the attention of nature observers, yeah honestly I want to tell you that since I started actively observing nature and this is the first time I found Graphocephala confluens in the real world, previously I only saw them in textbooks and agricultural information.
