This time, it is a rangefinder style, medium format sensor, mirrorless model that starts at $4500. It shares electronic and sensor with its older sibling GFX 50S, but has mediocre video features. In a professional photographer’s studio, video isn’t of any importance, but the CMOS sensor sized at 43.8x32.9mm and at 51.4MP is not so much superior to the modern FF sensors. In the meantime, you can develop a medium format system around the “cheap” GFX 50R. 😉
