I've been keeping as far as possible from the crap poured by M.Z. and E.M. for quite some time, I don't post on FB and X, ops pardon me, on Twitter on a regular basis. Actually that nice yellow themed picture with my Mastodon handle is the only thing I have ever posted on X, LOL, after it was "rebranded".

Lately, I've been focusing my online presence mostly on HIVE but I feel that isn't enough for me. I really miss an insta-like sharing, short posts with one quality picture and HIVE isn't about that as it seems. Not that many people read any long posts, but hey, this is still a blogging platform so short posts aren't welcome, at least, like it or not, that's the HIVE dogma.

Now, Mastodon isn't exactly a fully decentralized social network, but it is decentralized enough, at least for me on that stage of my understanding of what I want from a social network in general.

Prior registering, I checked for the most suitable Mastodon server, preferably one where most of the photographers circle around and I found a couple but they were closed for new registrations so I signed up on the original server. Here is my invitation link if you're not on Mastodon, yet.

A note here for those who are mostly here for the rewards: no financial incentives for posting there. Not that I am aware of. No ads too though, whish is great but as history teaches, all social networks start this way and at some point they start pouring advertisement sh*t for profit. So, let's see where this all goes. Am I too late in the game? I can't say yet.
