Exploring Khanpur Dam: A Day Full of Fun, Adventure, and Natural Beauty

Khanpur Dam located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, is a popular destination for adventure and nature lovers. Khanpur Dam is known for its blue water and fun activities, it offers a perfect escape from the busy city life. Recently, my friends and I decided to take a day trip to Khanpur Dam, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences. Sharing few glimpses of this adventure in this post.

The excitement started from the moment we planned the trip. We packed essentials, including homemade food, carpets and ingredients for coffee. As we reached on dam, the breathtaking view of the water surrounded by green hills warmly welcomed us. The day was sunny and pleasant, making it perfect for outdoor activities.

Khanpur Dam is famous for its water sports, and we were eager to experience all these adventures. We enjoyed thrilling rides, like jet ski, Parasailing, cliff diving and motorboat rides. Khanpur offers many other fun activities like Kayaking, Scuba diving and different fun ride options.

We were excited to see a traditional fun ride like horse and camel ride. As I am not a ride lover so I only did photo shoot with horse but my other friends enjoyed and explored lake side on horse.

We brought homemade food to enjoy a relaxed picnic at Khanpur dam's blue water. The environment of the dam made our meal more tasty. We prepared fresh coffee on-site. It was a great experience to take a sip of coffee while enjoying the beauty of Khanpur Dam.

Khanpur visit is not complete without tasting its famous citrus fruit (Shikri). These sweet oranges added a refreshing twist to our day.

Overall our day was memorable and filled with fun and joy. The natural beauty of the dam, and the company of close friends made it a truly unforgettable experience.

The best time to visit is during winter and spring when the weather is pleasant. Carry food, drinks, and also try the various water sports and outdoor activities to make the most of your trip. Don’t miss out on tasting the Khanpur citrus.
