Holozing: Alpha Vials Opening Has Begun

...But I’m Waiting And I Support the DHF

Today I return to write about Holozing which is one of the projects under development that I follow with great interest.

If you don't know Holozing you should know that it is a Hive-based project of a Pokemon-style RPG game (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).

Holozing is not yet playable, but on November 2, 2025, a step forward was taken: the opening of Alpha Vials, the starter packs, was implemented.

In this post, I share:

My decision regarding my Alpha Vials and why, despite the opening being active, I prefer not to open them... at least for now.
My decision to support the DHF proposal presented by Holozing

Why I am not opening my Alpha Vials (yet)

Opening Alpha Vials is definitely interesting and fun, and many Alpha Vials owners have already started opening them to discover the creatures and items inside.

In fact, today, November 5, 2025, out of 3,923 Alpha Vials sold:

1,062 have been opened
2,861 are unopened

I have 8 Alpha Vials and I'm very tempted to open them. Even my cat Fuffi would like to open them, as you can see in the next photo :)

For now, at least, I prefer not to open my 8 Alpha Vials, and the reason is simple:
The current distribution of ZING tokens still rewards unopened Alpha Vials.

Currently, 800K ZING are distributed per day:

Hive Power Delegation: 200K ZING per day
ZING Staking: 20K ZING per day
Liquidity Pool: 80K ZING per day
Alpha Vials: 495K ZING per day
Achievements: 5K ZING per day

@acidyo has clearly explained in his previous posts and also on Discord that the distribution system will be updated very soon and will gradually transition:

from a distribution based mainly on closed Vials
to a 50% closed Alpha Vials / 50% open Alpha Vials split
to a distribution system that will give more weight to items and creatures (based on their rarity)

However, to date:

the 50/50 distribution is not yet active
the weights linked to the rarity of the items are not yet applied

Opening Alpha Vials today only makes sense in terms of curiosity and fun.

Until the new distribution system is active, it makes more sense to me to wait, and it is also more profitable in terms of accumulating ZING tokens.

In fact, if I decided to open one of my 8 Alpha Vials today, I would lose a daily amount of ZING tokens.
Opening an Alpha Vial now = -172.95 ZING/day

For this reason, my strategy is to wait and continue accumulating ZING.

Why I chose to support Holozing's DHF proposal

Today, I carefully read the DHF proposal published by the Holizing team: Holozing Development & HAF based NFT app Proposal & New Creature Reveal

The total request is 27000 HBD over 60 days, divided into:

development and work on the HAF-based NFT app
backpay for developers and artists
an operating margin to cover part of 2025/early 2026

I'll be honest, I don't usually look favorably on projects asking for funds to cover backpay, but I really like the Holozing project and I really like the transparency with which @acidyo has always run the project.

The reasons why I chose to support Holozing's DHF Proposal are:

Transparency of the request
The proposal is clear on how the funds will be used and why they are needed.
HAF-based NFT app
This was the strong point for me.
The team collaborated with Blocktrades to create an NFT app on HAF that will be used by Holozing but can also be used by other projects on Hive.
In this case, it is reusable infrastructure work on Hive, and I consider it an added value of the proposal.

Code custodianship + commitment to open-sourcing if necessary
Holozing invited @blocktrades to be the custodian of the code and committed to making it open-source if the project were to be discontinued.

For now, my opinion is positive, and I have chosen to support the proposal.

Personally, I prefer to support a DHF that aims to create a game and an NFT app that can be used by other projects rather than supporting a marketing proposal that does not provide KPIs and/or has never produced tangible positive effects...

Holozing: È iniziata l’apertura degli Alpha Vials… ma io aspetto e sostengo la DHF

Oggi ritorno a scrivere su Holozing che è uno dei progetti in fase di sviluppo che seguo con molto interesse.

Se non conosci Holozing devi sapere che è un progetto Hive-based di un gioco RPG stile Pokemon (Web3 enabled monster catching, training, and battling game).

Holozing non è ancora giocabile ma dal 2 novembre 2025 è stato fatto un passo in avanti: è stata implementata l'apertura degli Alpha Vials, gli starter packs.

In questo post condivido:

la mia scelta riguardo ai miei Alpha Vials e perché, nonostante l’apertura sia attiva, preferisco non aprirli… almeno per ora.
la mia scelta di supportare la proposta DHF presentata da Holozing

Perché non apro (ancora) i miei Alpha Vials

Aprire gli Alpha Vials è sicuramente interessante e divertente e molti possessori di Alpha Vials hanno già iniziato ad aprirli per scoprire creature e oggetti contenuti.

Infatti oggi 5 novembre 2025 su 3923 Alpha Vials venduti:

1062 sono stati aperti
2861 sono non aperti

Io ho 8 Alpha Vials e la tentazione di aprirli è molta e anche il mio gatto Fuffi vorrebbe aprirli come puoi vedere nella prossima immagine :)

Io, almeno per ora, preferisco non aprire i miei 8 Alpha Vials e il motivo è semplice:
La distribuzione attuale dei token ZING premia ancora gli Alpha Vials non aperti.

Attualmente vengono distribuiti 800K ZING al giorno:

@acidyo ha spiegato chiaramente nei suoi precedenti post e anche su Discord che il sistema di distribuzione verrà aggiornato molto presto e passerà gradualmente:

da una distribuzione basata principalmente sui Vials chiusi
a una suddivisione 50% Alpha Vials chiusi / 50% Alpha Vials aperti
fino a un sistema di distribuzione che assegnerà più peso agli oggetti e alle creature (in base alla loro rarità)

Ad oggi, però:

la ripartizione 50/50 non è ancora attiva
i pesi legati alla rarità degli oggetti non sono ancora applicati

Aprire gli Alpha Vials oggi ha senso solo in termini di curiosità e divertimento.

Finché non sarà attivo il nuovo sistema di distribuzione, per me è più logico aspettare ed è anche più profittevole in termini di accumulo dei token ZING.

Infatti se decidessi di aprire oggi uno dei miei 8 Alpha Vials perderei un quantitativo di token ZING giornaliero.
Aprire ora un Alpha Vial = -172.95 ZING/giorno

Per questo motivo, per ora mi sembra più sensato attendere e continuare ad accumulare ZING.

Perché ho scelto di supportare la proposta DHF di Holozing

Oggi ho letto con molta attenzione la proposta DHF pubblicata dal team di Holizing: Holozing Development & HAF based NFT app Proposal & New Creature Reveal

La richiesta complessiva è di 27.000 HBD in 60 giorni, suddivisi in:

sviluppo e lavoro sull’app NFT basata su HAF
backpay per sviluppatori e artisti
un margine operativo per coprire parte del 2025/inizio 2026

Sono sincero, in genere non considero mai positivamente quando un progetto chiede fondi per coprire arretrati ma mi piace molto il progetto Holozing e mi piace molto la trasparenza con cui @acidyo ha sempre portato avanti il progetto.

I motivi per cui ho scelto di supportare la DHF Proposal di Holozing sono:

Trasparenza della richiesta
La proposta è chiara su come verranno usati i fondi e perchè servono
App NFT basata su HAF
Questo è stato il punto forte per me.
Il team ha collaborato con Blocktrades per realizzare un app NFT su HAF che sarà usata da Holozing ma potrà essere usata anche da altri progetti su Hive.
In questo caso è un lavoro di infrastruttura riutilizzabile su Hive e io lo considero un valore aggiunto della proposta.

Codice custodito + impegno a open-sourcing se necessario
Holozing ha invitato @blocktrades ad essere il custode del codice e si è impegnato a renderlo open-source se il progetto dovesse fermarsi.

Per ora, il mio giudizio è positivo e ho scelto di sostenere la proposta.

Personalmente preferisco supportare una DHF che ha l'obiettivo di creare un gioco e un app NFT utilizzabile da altri progetti piuttosto che supportare una proposta di marketing che non fornisce KPI e/o che non ha mai prodotto effetti tangibili positivi...

Come sempre, non è un consiglio finanziario, ognuno dovrebbe leggere la proposta con estrema attenzione e farsi la propria opinione.
