Grazing Cows in Backlighting

Oil on linen, 30"x36" Day 35 of my 5th #100daysofpainting challenge, working with large brushes on a large canvas, only concerned with starting a painting and taking it as far as I can go before I run out of steam. I never try to "finish" anything. I just "start." In this way, I'm improving my skills at painting the large relationships between the color masses and how they interact. I ignore details, just putting down my impression of the big masses, making progress toward mastery.
