Let's take a look into the Ethiopian flower market if you take a good look at the picture above you will find out that from 2001 to 2022 Ethiopia Made a total of $2.79B from selling flowers to the Netherlands and the rest of the world with the Netherlands being the highest buyer and contributing a whooping $2.2B in that period.
About 80% of Ethiopian flower exports are roses and in 2021 they were the 5th highest flower exporter in the World their flowers are high quality, with long stems, and vibrant colours and can last up to two weeks when properly taken care of.
The flower industry as of last I checked has generated about 85,000 jobs which are mostly occupied by women. This shows how the Agriculture sector can contribute immensely to the Economic growth of a country
