Having Tandoori Matka Chai

My wife is an avid lover of milk tea. She would need it at least once a day. So from time to time, I would take her outside to have a tea. Yesterday, I took her to have a tandoori matka tea. I saw this one on the street and decided to hop in there. The tea shop was beautifully decorated with matka, an earthen clay pot. It is similar to like of cup but comes in different design. It seems like those couple and friends who came here tied this in the rope. After finishing the tea from matka, they write the name in the pot and tie it here. But you have to pay extra for this pot.

Matka tea is similar to milk tea but comes with great taste than the normal tea. The tea is made in tandoor, a cylindrical clay oven where tandoori roti, tandoori chicken and other items are also made. Cooking in tandoor give the tastes of earthen flavour. Then after tea is boiled, it is transferred into matka to preserve its earthy flavour. It gives a unique taste than a regular tea due to the taste of mud.
