An Everlasting Flowers
I was just casually walking around Kings Park in Perth last Tuesday and this colourful species of Rhodanthe chlorocephala caught my attention. It goes by other two names as well: everlasting daisy and paper daisy flowers. These flowers are native plants to Australia. At Kings Park, I could notice three colours: pink, white, and purple. These flowers bloom like this all round the year even in summer which is dry and these flowers are drought resistant. But the blooming during winter looks so stunning after the rainfall. It maybe because everything around the vicinity looks so lush green. These flowers around Kings Park helps to retain its local biodiversity attracting bees as seen in the above photo that helps in pollination.
