- National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations Stock Market
An American stock exchange that is located in New York City. It is the second largest exchanges by market capitalization of shares traded, trailing only the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
The trading hours mirror that of the larger exchange, Monday-Friday 9:30-4:00 Eastern Time.
It was the first electronic trading system and opened up in 1971.
