LeoGlossary: Capitulation
The conscious decision to sell all or part of your assets at a loss because the price has dropped so much you don't believe it can go back up.
Capitulation is more likely the greater the volatility. With cryptocurrency, the risk associated with this investment increases the odds of capitulation.
Bitcoin, as an example, is known for its wild swings and ability to shake out weaker hands. It is also known for its HODLers.
