LeoGlossary: Agent (Listing)

In a real estate transactions, the listing agent represents the seller and guides that individual(s) through the process.

The agent can do things such as:

• market the property
• interact with the different parties during the process
• negotiate with the buyer
• help with any contracts.

Often the buyer will have his or her own agent.
