Is a Supply Shock Incoming?
Binance’s XRP reserves have dropped hard—down to about 2.5 billion coins, the lowest they’ve seen since early 2024. Since November 2024, nearly 700 million XRP have left the exchange. A lot of people see this as a sign: tokens moving off exchanges usually means buyers are stashing them in cold storage, not looking to sell anytime soon.
It’s not some tiny shift, either. Back in November 2024, Binance held around 3.2 billion XRP. Now it’s closer to 2.5 billion. That’s a 700 million coin drop, or about 22% of the whole pile gone from the exchange wallets in just a little over a year.
