H.G. Wells
H.G. Wells (Herbert George Wells) was a British writer, historian and sociologist, best known for his works of science fiction. He was born on 21 September 1866 in Bromley, Kent, England and died on 13 August 1946, in London. Wells is often regarded as one of the pioneers of science fiction, alongside contemporaries such as Jules Verne. His imaginative storytelling and his forward-thinking ideas on technology, science and society have made him an enduring figure in both literature and popular culture.
