BROKEN HEARTED GLOOM.gif

Hello, how are you? This week has been a hell for me and making me feel unproductive and productive at the same time and for sure I need to touch some grass to ease this tightness I feel on my chest to comfort myself I made Gloom because the mood is very gloomy this week and I wanted a Heartbroken Gloom this time and I have this idea of what if that broken heart have like a stapler and to make it better I added fake blood in the middle of it to make it more realistic and I really like to experiment and I did.

So today I am going to make Brokenhearted Gloom, and I really enjoy making it.

Materials I Used:

  • Polymer Clay
  • Weighing Scale
  • Needle Tool
  • White Paper
  • Dotting Tool
  • Clay Hole Cutter
  • X- Acto Knife
  • Metal Ball
  • UV Resin
  • UV Lamp
  • Nail Polish Brush
  • Disposable Gloves
  • Mask
  • Acrylic Stamping Block
  • Soft Pastels
  • Brush
  • Eyepin
  • Oven
  • Pliers
  • Keychain

Craft Time!

First is to condition the clay with my hand to make the texture smooth.

4.JPG

Shape it and smooth it around my hand, and then, using my needle tool, I shape it into a heart shape.

5.JPG

6.JPG

It doesn’t have to be perfect, and just make it heart shape, and then using my metal ball, I made a dent using it to where Gloom’s head will be placed.

7.JPG

8.JPG

And then, back with the needle tool, I added a cut texture around the heart. This is where I am going to add those stapler pieces and fake blood.

10.JPG

11.JPG

For the stapler pieces, I use the eye pins and then bend and cut them using my two pliers.

12.JPG

13.JPG

After bending, I cut it with pliers.

14.JPG

15.JPG

And then one by one, I added it onto the cut I made earlier. Set it aside for later.

16.JPG

17.JPG

For the head of Gloom, I used a skin tone clay and then conditioned it just like I did earlier.

18.JPG

19.JPG

Shape into a bean-like shape.

20.JPG

21.JPG

And then I grab the heart I made earlier and put the head I made onto the dent I made earlier.

22.JPG

23.JPG

And I made a map of the part of his face using my dotting tool.

24.JPG

25.JPG

To make the eyes, eyebrows, and lips, I use this clay cutter to make them of an equal size.

27.JPG

28.JPG

Then I added the eyes one by one.

29.JPG

30.JPG

Then the eyebrows.

31.JPG

32.JPG

For the lips, I use a pastel pink clay and then shape it into a triangle, and then put those on the face.

33.JPG

34.JPG

And then I cut just the bottom part, just half of it, using my X-Acto Knife.

35.JPG

36.JPG

For the lips, I roll a thin clay and cut it, and I put on one by one.

37.JPG

38.JPG

I added the blush. I use soft pastels and a brush. I apply it to both cheeks and nose.

39.JPG

40.JPG

Then I added the eyepin.

41.JPG

42.JPG

Bake the clay in a preheated oven, then set the timer and temperature to what the instructions on the back of the packaging say.

43.JPG

44.JPG

To make the fake blood, I mix a dark red and a UV Resin and apply it using a toothpick, and then cure it under a UV Lamp for a few minutes.

45.JPG

46.JPG

This is what it looks like.

47.JPG

48.JPG

And then, to make the clay charm shine, I use UV Resin and apply it with a nail polish brush.

49.JPG

53.JPG

And then cure under UV Lamp for a few minutes or until it is no longer sticky.

55.JPG

56.JPG

Then lock it using my pliers.

57.JPG

I hope you like it!
