Beet Gloom Handmade Clay Keychain

Hello, how are you? This vegetable I am going to make out of Gloom is just pure curiousity on what it tastes like IRL and this vegetable is hard to find here and I hope in the future I can one or taste of it and by now i'll just imagine and just make it our of Gloom and I think it will be look good so what I do is I did it LOL.

Craft Time!

Condition and weigh the clay, and then I roll it around my palm to make the outer part as smooth as possible.

And I place it on a stamping block, and then I shape it into a beet shape as close as I can LOL.

Using a metal ball, I made something to put on the head of Gloom for later.

For the texture of the beet, I use my needle tool to do it, make sure to work with a reference to make the process easier.

This is my favorite part. Adding shades to the clay by using soft pastels and then applying it using a brush, or if you want faster, I use my finger to do it. It is easier in my opinion.

For the stem, I am going to use green clay, and then I shade it with darker green using soft pastels.

And then I added it one by one on top of the beet. I set it aside for later.

For the head of Gloom, I use skin tone clay as always, condition it, and roll it around my palm to smooth the outer part of the clay.

Shape it into the head, and then I put that on the dent I made earlier onto the body of Gloom.

Then I made a map using a dotting tool for the part of the face.

To make the eye, I cut a small piece of dark brown clay, shaped it into a small ball, and, one by one, added it to the map I made earlier.

Same as the eyebrows.

For the nose, I use a light pink clay and shape it into a triangle, and I put that on the face.

To make it look like a nose, I cut just the bottom part.

For the lips, I roll a piece of clay into a very thin line, cut it, and place it on the face one by one.

Then I added blush using soft pastels and a thin brush. I applied it onto both cheeks and nose.

And then I added the eyepin.

Bake the clay in the oven and let it cool before proceeding to the next step.

Then, to add a shine coat and for extra protection to the clay, I use UV resin. I pour enough of it and then apply it using a nail polish brush.

Cure it under a UV Lamp for a few minutes.

To add the keychain, I put the jump ring into the eyepin.

Lock it using two of my pliers.
