Flor del Marabú

Hola a todos y feliz dia. Hoy estuve de ayudante en una finca de un amigo en el campo. Hicimos varias tareas, entre ellas preparar un cantero que tenía bastante yerba y luego sembrar unas yucas y boniatos. También, trabajamos en el platanar para limpiar toda la yerba mala. Bueno, esta flor captó mi atención es nada más y nada menos que la flor del Marabú, un, llamemoslo arbusto con muchas espinas que invade los campos y es muy incómodo deshacerse de el por su fuerte madera, usada para elaborar carbón vegetal, y sus espinas. Bueno, su flor es preciosa y acá se las dejo. Saludos.

Hello everyone and happy day. Today I was a helper on a friend's farm out in the countryside. We did several tasks, including preparing a garden bed that had a lot of weeds and then planting some yuca and sweet potatoes. We also worked in the plantain grove clearing out all the weeds. Well, this flower caught my attention — it's none other than the Marabou flower, let's call it a shrub with many thorns that invades the fields and is very uncomfortable to get rid of because of its strong wood, used to make charcoal, and its thorns. Note:
"Marabú" is usually kept as "marabou" or sometimes "marabou weed" in English (it's Dichrostachys cinerea, an invasive shrub common in Cuba).
