La Rueda
Hola, buenos dias Dbuzzers!

Good morning, Dbuzzers! Well, today as I passed through this park that we all know as "Parque de la Rueda" (Wheel Park), even though that's not its official name. That huge wheel is nothing more than a gear from an old sugar mill; it's been there for many, many years, and notice how the bark of this tree has already grown over it and made it part of itself. The tree is known here as a Ceiba, and many mystical-religious legends are woven around it. The bell hanging there symbolizes the call to work and the slaves' struggle for freedom. It's been there just like that for as long as I can remember. The place is already a symbol of the city and part of its heritage.
