Mt. Hood
I took this photo on Monday while hiking in the Tillamook national forest. We hiked the elk and kings mountain loop that is 9.5 miles long with a little over 5,000 feet elevation gain. It is mostly a hike with a little scrambling at both of the peaks. I attempted this last year and had to turn back after seven miles due to snow but this year trails were clear of snow and the sky was mostly clear of clouds. The trail head is near Kings mt. around the 27 mile marker on hwy. 6 between Tillamook and hwy. 26. It's not to grueling and offers great views of Mt. Hood, pictured here, from Elk mt. and the ocean from Kings mt. I took this with my Panasonic DMC-G1, 14mm lens. Thanks for looking!!!!!
