A Few Days With Odi
My experience living with my friend Odi: This week my sister-in-law decided to go out with Odi and take him in his kennel for a few days to de-stress. She wanted to enjoy herself a bit; so we went in a family car. Odi had never left his house before, and for him, everything was strange and traumatic; he has rarely had to use his kennel, except when he is sick and needs to be taken to the vet.

During the short drive, Odi cried and whimpered constantly to express his stress. His sister-in-law couldn't take him out of the kennel because there was another pet in the car and they didn't get along. In the end, she had to give him a few drops of a sedative recommended by her veterinarian.
While she was worried he might get sick, I was also desperate hearing him cry; I didn't want him to continue living in such an uncomfortable situation. The medicine calmed him down a little. Until we got home, everything was strange for him, since he wasn't in his own environment, but once we arrived he felt more relaxed; however, he didn't leave his mother's side for a single moment.
When my sister-in-law went outside, he would start crying; he didn't want to be alone. Later, as we grew more comfortable with him, he accepted our company. He began to play, and we saw him jumping all over the place; he resumed his daytime naps and started exploring at night.
As the days went by he became friendlier and more playful; living with him was a divine experience, he reminded me of my kitten.
