A Walk to Remember

Supposedly I would have uploaded this video yesterday, but I wasn't able to do so because my phone reception is too weak. Probably due to the bad weather brought by tropical storm Doksuri, localized as typhoon Egay here in the Philippines, which wreaked havoc on my locality and brought strong winds and incessant rain to almost every part of the country. Then I was assigned to a stationary post, at which I was hampered by the storm to walk along the surroundings and instead watch the videos I made during my previous walks to give myself some sort of contentment, and this video I am sharing today is what I like most.

I took this on the rocky beach, which I now frequently visit each time I see that it is low tide, and this was taken at sunset. My initial plan was to take videos and photographs of the lovely seascape amidst the golden hour, but there was some twist to it as my wife joined me on this walk because she wanted to pick up marine creatures that can be eaten that were scattered on the exposed sea floor, such as sea cucumbers, sea weeds, and shellfish. So we proceeded with the walk and helped her find those things. I thought of including the other people I saw on the site in the videos that I will be making, but I was overcome by shyness. the kind of trait that introverts like me usually have. Then I jokingly told my wife that she would be my model for my videos, which she hesitated at first but later agreed to as I needed some sort of human presence to break the monotony of the piece that I would be making so that the outcome would not be boring. to watch. I went on with the video shoot and at the same time watched the splendid sunset. It is near twilight when a lightning flash flashes on the horizon and a thunderclap can be heard elsewhere, so we immediately go to the shore to go home for safety reasons because a bout of thunderstorms can possibly happen anytime in our place.
