Mi cumpleaños siempre es lo que más me emociona de iniciar un nuevo año y realmente este 2024 no iba a ser una excepción; es impresionante como todo tu panorama puede cambiar drásticamente cuando tu energía, disposición y perspectiva cambia, este año empezó marcando nuevos comienzos, dándome la oportunidad de sanar heridas muy profundas que algunas ni quiera sabía que existían, saliendo de mi zona de confort de unas formas muy peculiares, lleno de viajes mostrándome nuevos horizontes, reforzando las relaciones más importantes que tengo en mi vida y creando nuevos vínculos con personas increíbles.

Siempre planifico mucho mis cumpleaños porque antes no tenía la oportunidad de decir qué hacer en esta fecha tan importante, desde 2022 solo he tenido cumpleaños geniales, disfrutando al lado de personas especiales e importantes, haciendo lo que más me gusta en el mundo que es comer y creando recuerdos que se quedarán conmigo como si fuesen un tatuaje.

Como dije, este año está siendo uno de los más especiales e importantes que he tenido en mucho tiempo y todo es gracias a mi hermana mayor, mis mejores amigos, familiares y varias amistades que han estado conmigo cuando este gran proceso de sanación se ha puesto difícil; son personas que siempre están conmigo, sin juzgarme, apoyándome y dándome la mano sin importar cuántas veces pueda caer en el camino. Aunque planifiqué ciertas actividades para mi cumpleaños, los que verdaderamente hicieron este uno inolvidable, único y sumamente especial fueron todas estas personas que anteriormente menciono.

Empecé la celebración de mis 24 oficialmente una semana antes mandando a hacer el autoregalo de cumpleaños más especial que me he hecho en toda mi vida, sé que para muchos será solo un suéter pero no es la prenda per se lo que tiene el valor sino lo que significa para mí; en el vídeo ya les explico todo este tema así que me ahorraré las palabras. El fin de semana antes de mi cumpleaños me fui a Cuyagua con mi hermana mayor, para los que me conocen saben el inmenso significado e importancia que tiene el mar para mí; soy un ser de agua y estar cerca de ella me hace volver a mi centro, conectarme con mi niña interior, recuperar mis energía y, básicamente, renacer.

El Martes, un día antes de mi cumpleaños, uno de mis mejores amigos de la universidad me sorprendió con un almuerzo y una torta adelantada, lamentablemente no pude grabar o tomarnos fotos ese día porque estaba sin pila y como fue sorpresa, no pude cargarlo antes; recibí mi cumpleaños en casa de una de mis mejores amigas, Alejandra, su familia me ha adoptado como uno de ellos y fue increíble recibir mi cumpleaños con todos ellos; mi mejor amiga me hizo un regalo súper especial y único, ella no es mucho de hacer regalos ni mucho menos manualidades así que este regalo tiene el triple de valor que uno convencional.

Algo que me emocionaba de el almuerzo tradicional de mi cumpleaños en Space Burger es que está vez iba a poder compartir con mi mamá y mi hermana menor, cosa que no había podido hacer en mucho tiempo; fue una tarde hermosa, recibí regalos increíbles y uno totalmente inesperado, no sé qué tanto pueda mencionar de eso aquí pero es un juguete +18 un poco exagerado😶

Como ya es tradición también, los fines de semana seguidos a mi cumpleaños celebro con mi familia paterna, junto a mis tíos, mi papá, hermana y mi abuela. Me emocionó muchísimo que sin yo decir ni explicar nada, todos siguieron la temática de color de este cumpleaños, lo cuál ya es costumbre que todos mis cumpleaños tengan un color en particular; ejemplo, mis 22 fueron de color amarillo con negro (inspirados en el Ñeñe que también cumple años el mismo día), los 23 fueron de color rosado y los 24 fueron de color rojo para combinarlo con mi cabello.

Me encanta pasar mis cumpleaños con mis mejores amigas y familiares porque son las personas que siempre han estado ahí a pesar de todo, de verdad que este año lo he estado disfrutando demasiado y mi cumpleaños solo fue un reflejo de lo feliz y en paz que estoy; he tenido días llenos de mucha tristeza, ansiedad, enojo, frustración e incluso odio porque me habían pasado tantas cosas horribles que incluso llegué a pesar que fue por mi culpa pero estos en estos tres meses la vida se ha encargado de demostrarme que no soy una mala persona, que equivocarse es parte de un gran proceso y solo hay que aprender de los errores como perdonar a las personas que te hicieron daño para seguir adelante.

My birthday is always what excites me the most about starting a new year and this 2024 was not going to be an exception; it is amazing how your whole outlook can change drastically when your energy, disposition and perspective changes, this year started marking new beginnings, giving me the opportunity to heal very deep wounds that some I didn't even know existed, getting out of my comfort zone in some very peculiar ways, full of travels showing me new horizons, strengthening the most important relationships I have in my life and creating new bonds with incredible people.

I always plan my birthdays a lot because before I didn't have the opportunity to say what to do on this important date, since 2022 I have only had great birthdays, enjoying myself next to special and important people, doing what I love most in the world which is eating and creating memories that will stay with me as if they were a tattoo.

As I said, this year is being one of the most special and important years I have had in a long time and it is all thanks to my older sister, my best friends, family and several friends who have been with me when this great healing process has been difficult; they are people who are always with me, without judging me, supporting me and giving me a hand no matter how many times I may fall along the way. Although I planned certain activities for my birthday, the ones that truly made this one unforgettable, unique and extremely special were all these people I mentioned above.

I started the celebration of my 24th birthday officially a week before sending to make the most special birthday gift I have ever made in my life, I know that for many it will be just a sweater but it is not the garment per se that has the value but what it means to me; in the video I explain all this so I'll save the words. The weekend before my birthday I went to Cuyagua with my older sister, for those who know me know the immense meaning and importance that the sea has for me; I am a being of water and being near it makes me return to my center, connect with my inner child, recover my energy and, basically, be reborn.

On Tuesday, a day before my birthday, one of my best friends from college surprised me with a lunch and a cake in advance, unfortunately I couldn't record or take pictures that day because I was out of battery and as it was a surprise, I couldn't charge it before; I received my birthday at one of my best friends Alejandra's house, her family has adopted me as one of them and it was amazing to receive my birthday with all of them; my best friend gave me a super special and unique gift, she is not much of a gift maker or much less crafts so this gift has triple the value than a conventional one.

Something that excited me about my traditional birthday lunch at Space Burger is that this time I was going to be able to share with my mom and my younger sister, something I hadn't been able to do in a long time; it was a beautiful afternoon, I received amazing gifts and one totally unexpected one, I don't know how much I can mention about that here but it's a +18 toy a little bit exaggerated😶

As it has become a tradition, the weekends following my birthday I celebrate with my paternal family, along with my uncles, my dad, sister and grandmother. I was very excited that without me saying or explaining anything, they all followed the color theme of this birthday, which is already a custom that all my birthdays have a particular color; for example, my 22nd was yellow with black (inspired by Ñeñe who also has the same birthday), the 23rd was pink and the 24th was red to combine it with my hair.

I love spending my birthdays with my best friends and family because they are the people who have always been there despite everything, I have really been enjoying this year and my birthday was just a reflection of how happy and at peace I am; I have had days full of sadness, anxiety, anger, frustration and even hate because so many horrible things had happened to me that I even came to think that it was my fault but in these three months life has shown me that I am not a bad person, that making mistakes is part of a great process and you just have to learn from your mistakes and forgive the people who hurt you to move forward.
