Kevin Spacey trashed by a shark!

An impressive career down the drain - all thanks to the bloody #Metoo movement! A gleeful headline just caught my eye - Kevin Spacey’s latest movies tanks with a ‘record-breaking abysmal’ opening night that brought in just $126! You know, Spacey ‘the predatory homosexual’ blah-blah-blah, accused of making ‘unwanted sexual advances’, none proven, of course, but who cares about such details.

It so happens that a few days ago we re-watched ‘Se7en’, one of my favorite movies, and I was just thinking just what a fabulous actor Kevin Spacey is. Not to mention ‘American Beauty’, ‘K-Pax’ or ‘The Usual Suspects’ and so on.
I don’t know about his latest movie, ‘Billionaire Boys Club’, it might not be a great movie, but the reason it tanked is that probably nobody would touch it - by way of distribution and promotion, because, you know, it’s with the disgraced Kevin Spacey, even though he plays a minor part (brilliantly, according to reviews). This is why it received a ‘quiet opening’ in barely 10 cities.
Out of curiosity, I checked the box-office numbers for last week - the first position is taken by a rom-com whose best feature seems to be that it takes place in Singapore. The second place belongs to some bloody crap about a shark, a 1980’s sort of horror, which grossed in on Friday $5,800,000!!!
There you have it a B-movie with a stupid monster made almost six million dollars in one day, whereas Kevin Spacey’s movie barely made a hundred bucks!
And, as some of the reviewers were quick to point out - Kevin Spacey has no other movie projects for the time being… he doesn’t exist anymore… but we can look forward to other ‘action-packed, full of thrills’ remakes, copy-pastes and sequels to the sequel… Hell, the second ‘Mamma Mia’ got more than 1 million dollars on Friday…but then this one stars Meryl Streep and she's one of the darlings of the PC movement!
