A new garden carnation!And my thoughts on Valentine's Day

Recently when I was in the flower shop I bought a flower called Alstremeria, this flower smells very beautiful and all the time you can smell it and it's just beautiful, my girlfriend was very happy and altogether I like it because I like it when there are simply flowers in the house some do not have to be large enough that they are beautiful and present themselves nicely, And the lady from the florist from whom I bought this flower was very nice, she advised me how to take care of this flower and briefly told me where this flower came from. So I went back to the older florist and asked her to advise me what flower to buy this time and she advised me to buy a garden carnation, it was also a great choice, these flowers come in many varieties, some are not even similar to each other and still have the same name for me a person who knows nothing about flowers was very interesting I bought a carnation with a ball-shaped flower and there are even such strange as the one in the second photo! And now I have a question for you guys, when it's Valentine's Day, do you celebrate this holiday? Because for me personally it's one of the most stupid holidays, because you always love and should always remember about your other half and not just on this one day where suddenly everyone wants to spend the day with their other half, share your thoughts :D
