The Fort Worth Herd Pt. 1~ Color and Black & White
As you know by now, my wife and I recently spent a couple of days in Fort Worth, Texas. We spent most of that time at the Fort Worth Stockyards, where one of the main attractions is the Fort Worth Herd. Twice daily, these longhorns leave their pen at the Fort Worth Live Stock Exchange and parade down East Exchange Avenue driven by real Texas cowhands in an authentic and historically accurate cattle drive. I'll post some images of the cattle drive another time, but first let's meet the herd. Note: This post will be followed by some additional views of the longhorns from above the pen. Stay tuned...
I'm presenting those images in color and in black and white. If you like both color and black and white photography, then the Colour/Black&White community (hive-150015), created and curated by @daveks, is for you. Check it out!
