Making Progress in Torchlight Infinite

I decided to get my recording/editing software fully setup on my new machine so I could do a voice over. In this video I walk through the re-build of my character. At level 80 you can no longer get free stat resets, so at 77 I finally got motivated to find a better build.

• Icey Lance with 5 support skills.
• Mana boil and passive skills to boost damage (and one for some needed mana regen)

As I mention in the vid, this build might be a little weak for the ultra end-game content, but its gotten me safely to timemark 5. If I feel like really pushing end game content, I'll probably build an entirely different character. Maybe a melee whirlwind or something. Those are always fun and polar opposite of this build.

The vid includes some void sea pirate gameplay and a map boss. Along with some explanation of how the end game system works. As with most systems in Torchlight Infinite, it feels like a simplified Path of Exile system, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It has plenty of depth without requiring 10 different apps and spreadsheets to plan an optimal build.

I'm up to 22 hours in the game to reach level 77 on my first character. Enjoyed every hour played, and again, the game is free. Definitely worth a spin!
