Elenite - resort with abandoned infrastructure
Beautiful place by the sea, holiday accomodations arrange nicely into nature, close to the beach, offering great views. Sounds tempting? Well, there's a nuance. They are abandoned completely or half neglected.
During pandemic time all was closed and after that, in addition, some legal matters occured, some licenses were not prolonged and the place slowly turns into urbex fans area.
Let's have a tour.
A huge reception hall, that served as a center for servicing the complex of villas. Spacious, with restaurant, bar, taraces etc.
The villas, composed into the hill.
As you see, they are coming down to the beach, with beautiful alleys leading along the coast.
The place could be a paradise for holidays, just need a good management, some good will from local authorities, adjusting the law.
Having said that I remain rather pessimistic, as the last years shows that if something depends on politicians they will screw up, excuse the language.
