Book Review: IT GETS USED by Tina B.

Moving back into fetish fiction that other people have created, I had the opportunity to read It Gets Used by author Tina B.

Really more of a short story than a book/novella, the story centers around a high-priced escort (I think? This wasn't very clear) named Sharon who visits a normally gentle client. This time, however, he offers her a bunch of money to do some S&M play under the guidance of a dominatrix/therapist (Again, this was unclear, which you may notice is a pattern). Sharon concedes, and we get the first part of a scene.

Yes, that's the entirety. The majority of the story is getting Sharon to comply, and then there's some verbal insults and a foot-whipping scene. Then the book ends.

Overall, this was a disappointment. Granted, the book is a Name-Your-Price offering, but even if this is intended as a "loss leader" to drum up interest in the author's other books, it didn't do a very good job. Looking at Tina's other books, the ones that cost money seem to be significantly longer, but It Gets Used left such a poor impression, I'm not sure I want to check the others out, even the free ones.

Was this not the best example of Tina B.'s work, and should I give her another chance? Leave a comment or send me a message if you have more experience with her work, because I'm moving on to other authors in the meantime.
