The 2 AM Rain Wakes Up the Community Because It Creates a Huge Flood

Good morning hivers! How was your area? I was awake so early today because of the rain. At 2 am there is a very heavy rain and strong winds and the roof was so noisy because it has big droplets of rain. I looked at the window and I saw the trees dancing. I wanted to sleep again but in a while there is water droplets in the room. Maybe our roof has holes and it comes to our ceiling. Not only in the room but also in the bathroom and living area. The rain took 30 minutes and finally it ends and I can sleep soundly. When I wake up at six this morning I was surprised outside because everything was erroded. Our slippers, garbages from other higher houses and the soil formation amazes me.

This is the view when I open the gate. Actually there are lots of garbages but I already picked them all it's from our opposite house.

Then I looked at the drainage nearby our house and it was completely erroded. In this picture you can see so many sand. It was erroded from the quarry area. We are thinking of collecting it. This is quite a long drainage in our house and it covers 10 meters long and if we collect these sand maybe it will give us 10 sacks.

These are the pictures I collected because I was amazed. It has different formation. Water and soil is very creative because it produces art naturally. These areas of soil erosions are in the front of the house, right side and right front side. I was pleased by their beauty but my husband is not happy. Hahaha

Before he went to his office he swept the yards and make sure all garbages are already disposed because it's not good in the eyes.

I was living here in the island for almost 5 months now and it was my first time experiencing a very heavy rain and a strong drainage flood. Early this morning we have small talks with the local but they said there are more stronger than this rain we feel today especially of there are typhoons.

Then I wonder how was waves in the ocean, how was life of the people living the shoreline. Then I open my social media and find some posts regarding te heavy rain. Luckily there were no reported incidents so I feel relieved.

It was pretty normal here in the island to rain at night. There are also loud thunders. I remembered last week we experienced a very strong lightning strike and it creates a very loud boom and then followed by a power outage. Electricity is back right after 2 hours but data was so slow and internet connection was restored after 4 days.

I love the rain, but I hate the storm. I was afraid of it but as a mother I never showed to my kids that I'm afraid because they are afraid too.
