Avocado Shake: Let's Make It Manually
Have a nice day everyone? How was fruit season in your place? Well today we have so many avocados and it is starting to ripen. My brother had collected these from our previous house and they put it on a sack and stored inside a box and after 2-3 days it will start to ripen. So today since I haven't eaten avocado for a long time let's have this manual shake because I have lots of recipe in my mind but I want to eat faster this time because I'm craving so much of it.
This is the most common type of avocado which is the purple one. Some varieties are sweet, some are not good too because it has lots of root like texture. This is not really good for sale size. Bigger sizes are now at the store while small sizes are for our snacks.
I cut it into half and this is how it looks. It has rooty texture but it's still good to eat. I set aside the avocado seed because I'm going to make it a liniment oil and I'm going to blog it here also.
Then slowly scoop the meat of it and put it in the glass. My first glass is small so I transferred to a much shallow and taller glass. My brother loves to use a coconut scraper it's more tiny and easy to shake but I hate to wait them to finish that's why I used to spoon instead.
Add a little bit of sugar. There are avocado variety which is already sweet so makes sure to taste it before making something. This one is the odd one so I need sugar in this. Actually it's better when mix with condensed milk or powdered milk but here let's make it simpler.
Then I have to pound it to the tiniest like a puree using the spoon itself. It takes time like 2-3 minutes but if you would like to eat it like cubes then it's okay but I like the most puree one. I forgot to use the blender for this maybe I'm too excited to taste my shake hahaha. It must be more easy if it's done with a blender.
Then here's the final glass of avocado shake in a very simple and fast way. This little glass of mine is only one whole avocado and I'm satisfied with this amount. I remember I had made a sandwich that has avocado puree and it was delicious so I was thinking of making it again.
How about you guys, what avocado recipe do you like the most? I know there are a lot of ways an avocado can be turn into. Let me know your favorites in the comment section.
