Driving on the main road to find breakfast and lunch with my wife on a rainy morning.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Although it started with a light drizzle, it rained continuously all morning. After my wife and I took our granddaughter and autistic son off at school, we had no plans at all. So, we spent today taking it easy and going out for some simple food for breakfast and lunch together. Yesterday, we wandered along country roads to find a restaurant for lunch. Today, let's take the main road (Highway 107) instead. Of course, I'll take you to see the atmosphere on the main road first. The atmosphere on the main road wasn't as beautiful or appealing as the views on the country road yesterday, perhaps because of the light rain and overcast sky.

Even though we tried to find a breakfast place along the main road, but many restaurants were still closed early in the morning because of the rain too, and we just couldn't find one we liked. Therefore, we decided to eat breakfast at the Lotus's food court, where all the food stalls were open despite it being early in the morning. I would like to have the stir-fried chicken noodles, and my wife will have the noodles with pork meatballs in clear soup.

Initially, we planned to drive around looking for food in the late morning before having lunch. However, while we were relaxing after breakfast, the teacher called us to pick up our autistic son before noon. Therefore, we changed our plans and decided to just drive along the main road again in search of lunch. The rain was still pouring and the sky remained overcast.

This time, there were many restaurants along the main road, but we decided to buy our lunch at one of them. It is a mini restaurant with Thai food cooked to order. We ordered food to eat at home, I ordered a non-spicy minced pork basil with rice for my autistic son, a northern Thai curry noodles with pork meatballs for myself, and a rice vermicelli with northern Thai pork tomato soup for my wife.
