What makes a portrait?
A portrait intent is to display a personality. Usually, the face and its expression are predominant. But what if the subject is turned away from us. We can't see her face, we don't know how she looks. Maybe something is wrong with her, maybe she is ugly, or maybe she is sad and she doesn't want to be photographed. We don't know that we can only assume what this faceless portrait is trying to tell us.
Would you recognize her on the street?
