Don't Look at Me

Hi, everyone! I had a dream about vampires which inspired me to draw this piece! I realized that my paintings were a bit too unsaturated because I'm so afraid of using bright colors so I thought I should try to make the colors pop out. I'm actually really happy with how this one turned out because I was able to establish solid shapes or solid lighting/shadow without it looking weird \o/

The story behind is that she's turning and she doesn't want everyone to see. She feels so helpless and anguished by what she's becoming. I really tried to capture that emotion but that's anything thing I should practice on so I hope this piece gives out that vibe. For the background, I tried to make it look like she's in an abandoned warehouse because she's trying to hide from people. She's trying her best to hide as she turns but you found her. She looks at you in pain and disgust towards herself yet she wants to run to you for comfort for she hasn't had anyone's in a while. Hehe I like edgy pieces the most.

Ok, I know vampires don't look like this but she looks so pretty! I'm just gonna say it's vampire-inspired >u< Now that I look at it more, she looks like some sort of fallen angel. It's edgy either way so I don't mind >u<
