That's Where I Met Jordan

And we were just very blessed, both of us, to be able to travel and do that. Prior to His Glory, I came a little bit different from Jordan. I came kind of from a more secular end.

So I was actually, I worked for the government for 17 years, where I worked in the field of law enforcement. And I was actually over a mental health unit and gang unit for local cities and counties. And 50 hours plus a week, I had two beautiful little kiddos and realized that I was spending way too much time away from them.

And so I had to come to Jesus' moment, told God I would work for Him, and then started speaking out at school board meetings with the crazy stuff that was being taught in the school system, even though I didn't have kids in the school system at that time. And that kind of launched me when I said yes to God. That's what launched me into an open door with His Glory.

Actually, it was one of my school board speeches. And so as God does, He really put me to the test to give up everything, a 17-year career, to work for Him. And I couldn't be happier to say that I said yes.

And I did that. And now I get to spend—everything worked out well because I got to spend more time with my kids and also tell them, hey, guess what? When the world went crazy, Mommy didn't just sit there. I actually stood up for you and your future and for God.

And so I can't think of a better lesson to teach your kids than how, when you put your faith, hope, and trust in God, even though it looks scary or it looks like you could be making the wrong decisions, when you just step out in faith and say, OK, God, I'm going to rely on you. He opens doors that are just amazing. And that's where I met Jordan and other amazing people like you guys.
