Waves and forms: photos from a session with Brihanna.

Last year, Brea/Brihanna was a regular at my studio apartment. Beyond being colleagues around our work ecosystem, we had become friends or family of some sort, and based on that relationship she came around the studio a lot.
Brea is a multitalented creative. Being a makeup artist, a hairstylist, a fashion designer, a fashion stylist, creative director and model. Imagine having someone like that around the studio, it means almost every visit warranted a photo session. We actually had a lot of those last year. This year things have been quite different as everyone's been very busy working on their personal brands.
In one of the times she visited last year, we(me and my other colleagues in the studio) seized the opportunity to create some photos. It was a very spontaneous decision(as usual) and the idea was to create very simple set of photos. But I had other ideas as soon as I picked up my camera.
Brea had started to poses and she kept moving and swaying like she was dancing to unheard music playing in her head. I saw that and got the idea to create "shutter-drag" photos. That idea completely changed the direction of the shoot, and I totally loved what we were able to create.
As usual, it was another set of photos I tucked away in my hard drive until I had time for them this year. And as is with every photograph I've delayed editing, the results were stunning. Enough talk, check them out;

I haven't really explored shutter drag in my photography. Over the course of my career, I might have tried between 3-5 times. I think I should create more like that, or what do you think?
Let me know in the comments section what you think about the photos and which one is your favorite.
