Monomad challenge entry #165: Afro "Black Widow"
A few months ago, I crashed a shoot my friend from Ghana was doing with Brihanna.
My friend Kweku, as we fondly call him was visiting Nigeria from Ghana, and he made a stop in PortHarcourt to visit. As is our usual practice, we tend to plan and work on a shoot together however, I was so engrossed in other engagements that we couldn't plan a shoot. Fortunately, he had contacted Brihanna(now our mutual friend) and they planned a shoot together. I knew nothing about their plans until shoot day at the studio.
Shoot day came and fortunately, I was at the studio. I loved the styling and concept so much that I asked to join in. They obliged my request(they didn't have a choice anyway 😉). So we paired up and started shooting. We exchanged ideas as the shoot progressed and that's what led us to create this set of photos;
The first thing that popped up in my head after editing was to title the project "Afro Black Widow". The styling and color where the things that inspired the title of the project. I liked the photos so much and have shared the monochrome variant as my entry for the #monomad challenge. Let me know in the comments section what you think about the photos.
