Filming For "GNARS'ly" Video Part

A few days ago my sponsor proposal to Gnars.Dao went live and after 3 days of voting I am super stoked to announce that the proposal passed and...

I am officially a part of @Gnars Athlete Team!!!

It doesn't get any better than this, for real. Sponsored by a decentralized organization is a dream come true and alligns with my values just perfectly but at the same time riding for @Gnars means I have some "responsibilities" too..

GNARS'ly video part

If you checked my sponsor proposal then you know that I promised Gnars community to use some of those funds they granted me (3 ETH) for travelling so I can film a video part.

Filming a video part in 6 months time ain't an easy task by any means. Stacking a 3-sec skateboarding clip might take days of trying and multiply that by 30 when we're talking about a video part hehe.

Challenge is ON

I love challenges and when those challenges involve skateboarding then count me in! Me and my filmer Andreas Haroupias already went on 2 filming "missions" and stacked 2 beautiful clips in 2 iconic spots!

Of course I won't ruin the fun of telling you the tricks but instead share the vibe through Andreas lenses.

Mission 1 - Naftis

If you're keeping an eye on my blog then you probably seen this spot at this skateboarding Vlog I uploaded 10 days ago. It's a momument for the fallen soldiers of WW2 and home of 2 beautiful ledges.

Here's a taste of what happened!

Mission 2 - Androutsos Square

That's the central square of Preveza, the city I moved 1 month ago! Not many stuff to do and rough flatground but a skater's gonna skate so I took advantage of a really tall stand and a loooong flat gap!

Next Mission

Our next filming mission is already planned and it's gonna be this Sunday. We're gonna travel to one of my favourite places on Greece, Lefkada island and stack a bunch of clips hehe!

It's been some time since I last filmed a video part and damn it feels awesome to make a plan about cities I wanna visit, spots I wanna skate and tricks I wanna do. Skateboarding art at it's finest hehehe!
