Wie man auf dem oberen Bild unschwer erkennen kann hat #AndyWarhol ein Bild des Musikers #Prince als Vorlage verwendet für eine Siebdruckserie.	As you can see in the picture above, #AndyWarhol used a picture of the musician #Prince as a template for a series of screen prints.
Das Foto stammt von der bekannten Celebrity Fotografin Lynn Goldsmith. Das 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals hob eine Entscheidung des Bundesgerichts von New York aus dem Jahr 2019 auf, wonach #AndyWarhol Goldsmiths Foto von #Prince aus dem Jahr 1981 bei der Erstellung der "Prince Series" fair verwendet hatte. Goldsmith legte gegen dieses Urteil Berufung ein und argumentierte, dass die Warhol-Kunstwerke keine transformative Verwendung ihres Bildes darstellten. Warhol hat einfach alles verwendet und seins daraus gemacht, ohne die Urheber zu fragen, wie auch schon bei seiner berrühmen Marilyn Serie. Er hat damit einen Haufen Kohle gemacht und wird von der westlichen Welt bis heute dafür gefeiert. Er soll auch das große Vorbild für junge Künstler sein: Ein Fälscher und Plagiator, na wunderbar! Goldsmith appealed this ruling, arguing that the Warhol artwork was not a transformative use of her image. Warhol just used everything and made his own without asking the authors, as he did with his famous Marilyn series. He made a lot of money with it and is celebrated for it in the western world to this day. He should also be the great role model for young artists: a forger and plagiarist, wonderful!

Nun hat also ein US Gericht das aufgedeckt und dem Plagiatopfer Recht gegeben!	So now a US court has uncovered this and given the plagiarism victim right!
Werden desswegen weitere Warhol Plagiate aus den Museen verschwinden?: Es wäre zu wünschen, doch anzunehmen ist es nicht. Denn dort wo die #Gier nach dem #Geld regiert, und im Kreis der Warhol Fans ist das besonders ausgeprägt, setzt das Gehirn bekanntlich aus! Dennoch hoffen wir, daß durch dieses Urteil einen kleinen wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit den Orginalproduzenten zukommt!	Will more Warhol plagiarism disappear from the museums as a result?: It would be desirable, but it cannot be assumed. Because where the #greed for #money rules, and in the circle of Warhol fans this is particularly pronounced, the brain is known to fail! Nevertheless, we hope that with this judgment a little more attention will be paid to the original producers!
