HashNet- Beyond Blockchain technology.

Hello everyone, it's me again with yet another review of an excellent project with reference to the blockchain technology. Blockchain technology was conceived many years ago and it came at the time the world needed it the most; the introduction of the Blockchain Technolog was accompanied by the introduction of the cryptocurrency ere with Bitcoin being the first ever cryptocurrency and a lot others after. The blockchain is a list of records that keeps growing as a result of the numerous transactions that take place every second. These records could also be known as Blocks which are linked using cryptography.
Blockchain has been applied to several businesses and industries to help solve some prevalent problems; blockchain has been applied to the energy sector, blockchain has been applied to the power sector and even the financial sector and the best part about the whole thing is that blockchain is just at its beginning stages; there are still more to come as regards the blockchain technology. Despite the benefits of using the blockchain technology, there are some level of limitation as regards the usage friendliness, overall performance and quality of service. When it comes to the maintenance of large size public distributed ledgers, the blockchain technology might be at a disadvantage. The blockchain technology is one that consumes a tremendous amount of power, the mining of Bitcoin is mostly a direct cause of this; Bitcoin mining requires the use of heavy equipment to solve computational problems with algorithms and this process requires a huge amount of power. Despite the huge amount of power the blockchain consumes, the number of transactions per second is also limited.

The mindset of looking beyond the blockchain technology to an even more advanced technology has been provoked, all thanks to the limitations of the blockchain technology. Hence, looking beyond blockchain is the HashNet. HashNet is a beyond blockchain project which leverages distributed ledger technology and consensus algorithm. Leveraging the distribution ledger technology and consensus algorithm enables the HashNet to retain all the positive attributes of the blockchain technology while letting go of the associated limitations and even goes further to step up the transaction rate to over 200,000 transactions per second; this is a feat that blockchain can not measure up to and let's not forget the power consumption associated with blockchain, the HashNet efficiently reduced the power consumption while still maintaining the number of sustainable transactions per second.
HashNet promotes complete transparency and can even be run on mobile devices without any change to the speed associated with transactions. The cryptocurrency associated with the HashNet Network is "TOLAR".

The total token supply is 1,000,000,000 Tolar (TOL) with softcap set at 20,000 ETH and Hardcap at 45,000 ETH.
