What if the miners were to be bride/bought by the gov? Will we see a bitcoin 51 attack?

I mean the possibility is always there and if there is a time to do it then this is the right period...it only takes around 300K USD per hour ...all you need is a couple of minutes!

If it happens it is the end!

Meaning that the gov will take control of bitcoin, certainly a big part of its supply:
When you 51 attack a coin you not only can add more coins to its ledger and make a boat of money from it but also you get to KEEP those coins!!!
That means the circulating bitcoins will suddently increase and will be in the hands of the attackers/gov
Now the immediate aftermath of this is a significant drop of price of bitcoin to even the tens of dollars, depending on the severity of the attack
Everybody will fly out of bitcoin while the gov is buying it back at dirt prices...

Gov takes control of bitcoin!
