Yes even if markets go down you can still make money. You can ie sell assets, rebuy lower same amount or rebuy lower more.

You can short, which means leveraged trading and make money.

You can do the same other way - if things are oversold you can buy cheap more or long them.

Is this easy? No. Does it need a skill ? Yes. Does it need luck ? Sometimes yes.

So if you are a trader these markets are amazing to trade on short timeframes.
