MY LOVE FOR REX AND RUBY

I love dogs as pets reason been that it helps secure the house from thieves and it also create awareness by barking when something is fishy or wrong. There is this family friend of mine who have dogs because of my love for dogs, I told him about it and he said whenever the dog gives birth, he will call me to come carry one and luckily for me he called me last week Tuesday to come pick the puppy. What I love most about the puppy is the color and because is a Caucasian breed and is just 2weeks old.

When I got there to pick up the puppy, I was also told to give it egg, pap, white rice and more of milk since breast milk is not available and it can't eat pepperish food yet. When I brought the puppy home,my niece and nephew were so happy to see the puppy.

The night I brought it home,it cried throughout the night due to change of environment and because it was missing the others. The third day I gave it food but it refused to eat I had to call my family friend to update him about the puppy so he said is a matter of time that it will adjust and also is lonely.

I was told to buy deworm drug (Zolat suspension) which is for human beings for the puppy because it works faster it will enable the puppy feed well. The next day, I administered 5ml of the deworm drug to the puppy and after some time it started eating. Since then, the puppy have been feeding well.

Luckily for me, my neighbor called that he wants to give me dog that he doesn't know if I need it but because of my love for dogs I quickly said yes I need it.

I noticed that the big dog (which is the cross breed of both local and German dog) has tick, I had to call a veterinary doctor so it won't infect the puppy with tick. When he came, he gave the dog injection to help prevent tick from entering the dog's body.

In other to differentiate them, I named the cross breed dog Ruby while the Caucasian dog Rex.
Due to the presence of Ruby, Rex no longer feels lonely cause it now have a playmate.
