In the last bear market, I started deploying a strategy that was - at the time - only recently made possible thanks to DeFi applications.

Since then a lot of CeFi and other DeFi apps have sprouted up and offered similar mechanisms.

The strategy is called Bitcoin Collateralized Lending.

Collateralized lending has been around for centruies. You put up XYZ collateral and in return you get XYZ amount of money to utilize.

Once you pay back the money you borrowed, your collateral is released and you can utilize it however you wish.

In the past this may have been things like jewelry, your home, your land, etc.

In a digital age, we are now able to do this with our digital property: BTC.

In this clip, I talk about how I used collateralized lending in the last bear market to 10x my portfolio while still being able to live and survive on crypto.
