It's the anchor we sorely needed, since the individual rules / tastes of voters are apparently unacceptable when money is involved. Expectations on Steem will become so much easier to manage and we may achieve better results.

This is all we really needed since the beginning. Imagine millions of people duking it out in one global arena, trying to best each other. Becoming better and better.

I know I’ll use such an platform daily. Great content, plus the ability to earn some crypto by participating. Why not? It has a unique place in everyone's digital lives along with the other already established apps. That's how Steem could get widely accepted around the world.
