I'm Ketzali, and I'm excited to write my first post on PeakD.

Finding this platform has been a stroke of luck. For days, I had been looking for something similar where I could share my thoughts and experiences and get paid for it.

For years, my life was a whirlwind of activity. At 27, after years of cocaine use, I made the decision to go into rehab and entered one of the first addiction rehabilitation clinics, CESOLI, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Once in recovery, I became an “experiential” therapist and for 10 years I worked in rehabilitation clinics while also being an active member of Narcotics Anonymous (NA).

During the quarantine, I got divorced, remarried, and entered Shamanism, where I did a vision quest. After four years, I was given permission to run Temazcales. Those were intense years of understanding, knowledge, and service, and without a doubt, it was the best time of my life. I still attend ceremonies.

I want to talk about what it means to grow old, about the moments that hurt and those that surprise us with joy. I want to share how I am learning to live with this body that has weakened but still holds stories.

I am passionate about global geopolitics, even more so in these times of war around the world. I believe that today we must make an effort to remain humanized. There is so much violence and chaos that it is easy to ignore reality and live in personal bubbles isolated from reality.

Soy Ketzali, y estoy emocionada de escribir mi primer post en PeakD.

Encontrar esta plataforma ha sido una gran suerte, hace días que andaba buscando algo similar en donde poder compartir mis pensamientos y experiencias y me paguen por ello,

Por años, mi vida fue un torbellino de movimiento. a los 27 años después de años de consumo de cocaína, tomé la decisión de rehabilitarme e ingresé a una de los primeras clinicas de Rehabilitacion de Adictos CESOLI en Guayaquil-Ecuador, una vez en recuperación me convertí en terapeuta "vivencial" y durante 10 años trabaje en Clinicas de Rehabilitacion al mismo tiempo que era miembro activo de un grupo de Narcóticos Anónimos o NA.

En la cuarentena me divorcie, me volví a casar y entre al Chamanismo en donde hice la Busqueda de vision y pasados 4 años me dieron el permiso para correr Temascales, fueron años intensos de entendimiento, conocimiento y servicio y sin lugar a dudas fue la mejor época de mi vida, aun sigo asistiendo a Ceremonias.

Quiero hablar de lo que significa envejecer, de los momentos que duelen y los que sorprenden con alegría. Quiero compartir cómo estoy aprendiendo a convivir con este cuerpo que se ha debilitado, pero que aún guarda historias.

Soy apasionada de la Geopolítica Mundial, mas aun en estos tiempos de guerras alrededor del planeta, creo que hoy en dia debemos hacer un esfuerzo para seguir humanizados hay tanta violencia y caos que es fácil desentenderse de la realidad para vivir en burbujas personales aislados de la realidad.

Estoy feliz de estar aquí, en Hive, con todas ustedes.
