Rainbows In Euphoria

Euphoria's sweet embrace, a taste divine
Of rainbow hues, a feast for eyes and soul
Success, a fruit of hard work and toil
A taste of victory, a heart's goal
The bitter days of struggle now are gone
And in their place, a world of pure delight
The colors of the rainbow all have shone
And in their light, my spirit takes flight
The taste of success, a nectar rare
A flavor that can't be bought or sold
A feeling that can only be shared
With those who've dared to reach for a goal
Have a taste of this flavor of pure delight
Embrace the treasure for those who dared to strive
It's been a while I participated in the Blockchain Poets Weekly Prompt but this week's prompt, "EUPHORIA" struck a chord because of a few experience I have had.
Euphoria means immense excitement or happiness; being joyful and feeling good about oneself or a particular situation. So I let myself be inspired to write this poem about a time in my life when I pursued an educational goal. Oh, it was a toughy one. I did not believe I would pull through. The environment was unpleasant but somehow I made it because I was determined.
The funny thing was, my determination was geared towards simply scaling through so I could march through the hall of success with my peers. I was ready to settle for less but my efforts spoke of distinction.
When I accomplished this goal, the result was so outstanding that I was in a state of euphoria for days. I couldn't get over the fact that I could push myself to achieve something as valuable. I started to believe in myself more.
In my euphoria, it was hard to eat or sleep. It was like rolling in the rainbow, if I may say so. Surrounded by bright mixed colours, touching them but unable to tell one apart from the other. I was simply HAPPY!
