Beer testament- Port Nelson the Greeter IPA

Just around the corner is this new brewery with a very homey feel to it called Plan 9 Alehouse. The beer selection is quite wide, offering many local San Diego craft beers. The beer of the month here was the Port Nelson the Greeter by Port Brewing Company out of San Marcos. It’s a very refreshing IPA that’s not too bitter and has a Lemon/citrus flavor at first then has a crisp finish to it. The ABV is 6% which is lower than most IPAs so if you’re not a huge IPA fan it’s still worth a shot in my opinion.
