Why Young Men Aren’t Getting Married

With the partial legalization of infanticide in some parts of the country, it has become apparent to many that our nation is indeed in perilous times. The moral decadence in our society is akin to that of Rome’s in its later stages; the only substantial difference being that today our capacity to drown ourselves in bread and circus is far higher. The foundational element of our society, the family, is under attack from the forces of the Left, in the most subversive of ways- lacking any level of decency, courage, or integrity. While the divorce rates have significantly decreased (18%) since 2008, it is still safe to say that roughly 40% to 50% of marriages will end in divorce or separation these days. 70% of these divorces are initiated by women, and the leading cited factor in their decision to do so is currently, “lack of commitment” at 73%, which some could interpret as a simple lack of satisfaction. The primary reason why the divorce rate has gone down in recent years is due to the fact that people are simply getting married far less often.
