La belleza natural, la serenidad y la conexión con la tierra que experimenté en este lugar fueron verdaderamente enriquecedoras. Las fotos las tome en los alrededores de la finca de mis bisabuelos en Minas, Camagüey.

Greetings to the community of Hive, today I want to share with you a typical landscape of the Cuban countryside that I had the opportunity to enjoy during a trip. The natural beauty, serenity and connection to the land I experienced at this place were truly enriching. The photos were taken in the surroundings of my great-grandparents' farm in Minas, Camagüey.

Respirar el aire puro, disfrutar de la tranquilidad y saborear alimentos frescos directamente del campo a la mesa fue un regalo para mis sentidos. Estar rodeado de la naturaleza es una experiencia revitalizante que nos permite recargar energías y apreciar la paz que estos paisajes transmiten.

Breathing the fresh air, enjoying the tranquility and savoring fresh food straight from the field to the table was a gift to my senses. Being surrounded by nature is a revitalizing experience that allows us to recharge our batteries and appreciate the peace that these landscapes transmit.

Una de las cosas que más me sorprendió durante mi estancia en Camagüey fue la diferencia en los sabores de los alimentos cultivados de manera natural por los campesinos en comparación con los productos procesados que consumimos habitualmente en la ciudad. Degustar leche recién ordeñada, quesos artesanales y dulces caseros fue un verdadero festín para el paladar, revelando la autenticidad y calidad de los alimentos locales.

La llanura camagüeyana es un escenario perfecto para la cría de ganado vacuno, por lo que es común encontrarse con estos animales pastando o descansando a la sombra en esta región. La vida en el campo se caracteriza por su ritmo tranquilo y su estrecha relación con la naturaleza, lo cual contrasta notablemente con el bullicio y el estrés de la vida urbana.

One of the things that surprised me the most during my stay in Camagüey was the difference in the flavors of the food grown naturally by the peasants compared to the processed products that we usually consume in the city. Tasting freshly milked milk, artisanal cheeses and homemade sweets was a real feast for the palate, revealing the authenticity and quality of local foods.
The Camagüey plain is a perfect setting for cattle breeding, so it is common to find these animals grazing or resting in the shade in this region. Life in the countryside is characterized by its quiet pace and close relationship with nature, which contrasts markedly with the hustle and bustle and stress of urban life.

En definitiva, la experiencia de sumergirse en la vida rural de Camagüey me permitió apreciar la belleza y la simplicidad de un estilo de vida más cercano a la tierra, donde la armonía entre las personas y su entorno es palpable. ¡Una experiencia que sin duda recomendaría a todos aquellos que buscan reconectar con la naturaleza y disfrutar de la autenticidad de los campos cubanos!"
In short, the experience of immersing myself in the rural life of Camagüey allowed me to appreciate the beauty and simplicity of a lifestyle closer to the land, where the harmony between people and their environment is palpable. An experience that I would definitely recommend to all those looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy the authenticity of the Cuban countryside.
